At the Foundation for Innovation in Healthy Food (FIHF), we believe every meal should nourish you. This set of activities includes both education and collaboration with food providers to enhance the nutrition of actual foods.
That’s why we focus on:
OUR APPROACH: NUTRITION MARKET AND POLICY UNIVERSAL DESIGN.
We integrate science, market, and policy innovation, building on the Universal Design Concept: developing health interventions with communities most deeply impacted by chronic disease and difficult to reach with current approaches.
We also collaborate with high-income communities who will benefit, to fund and extend influence.
This approach builds on related Universal Design concepts, such as Oxo kitchen gadgets designed for elderly people with arthritis led to easy-to-grasp tools everyone loves.
The FIHF HBCU Roadshow is a high-impact health and culture tour reaching over 1 million people via live events, broadcast radio, and digital media.
Coordinated by the Foundation for Innovation in Healthy Food (FIHF) and backed by a coalition of scientists and thought leaders across 26 states and 5 countries, this campaign energizes the movement for better nutrition in communities-honoring culture, preserving joy, and preventing chronic disease.
An engaging pre-event campaign that teaches college students how to decode nutrition labels-essential for lifelong wellness. (Great sponsor opportunity!)
